Appointed as the bustling shopping centre’s preferred supplier in 2014, or creative campaign ideas, innovative event concepts, PR expertise and social media strategy are positioning Prospect Shopping Centre at the very heart of community life in Hull, ready for the UK City of Culture year in 2017.
The comprehensive events plan throughout the year alone continues to drive footfall to the shopping centre, including Nightmare on Prospect Street, a campaign which has helped to increase footfall by more than 15% at the same time each year during Halloween. This event itself has been shortlisted for a prestigious Revo Purple Apple Award. On top of this, events such as Once Upon a Prospect – a story hour which acts out classic tales to family audiences, drives crowds and creates an atmosphere in the centre.
Community at heart
We have also helped to develop and maximise the potential of community initiatives, such as the award-winning rooftop allotment, in which vegetables grown in the allotment are donated to Hull’s homeless charities. By enhancing this further from both a campaign and PR perspective, Prospect Centre is a favourite with the community.
Our success with Prospect Shopping Centre has also been due to our relationship with all the store teams, working cohesively to benefit both the centre and its tenants. This is something that we pride ourselves in, working closely with both the Centre Management Team and store teams to generate results which make a difference.
