Packhorse Shopping Centre appointed Mercury to help drive footfall and sales using a combination of events and social media. The centre’s first ever food court, Packhorse Kitchen, opened to the public in 2015. Along with helping to promote the launch of the food court, Mercury has worked with some hugely reputable food brands to drive people to the centre.
Creating events which are unique and haven’t been seen before in Huddersfield, we continue to drive significant levels of footfall to the centre at each event.
On top of this, social media campaigns have helped to significantly boost the audience for the Packhorse. A Huddersfield Town shirt giveaway competition recently increased the social media audience by more than 30% and had more than 7,000 entries in just under four days.
