A retail destination on the outskirts of Manchester’s thriving city centre, Manchester Fort Shopping Park is home to dozens of the biggest brands in the UK.
After a competitive national tender, Mercury was appointed as Manchester Fort’s marketing and PR agency in 2015. Our ethos of closely working with retailers has seen us help elevate the launch of one of Mothercare’s largest stores in the UK, Party Delight’s first ever store north of London, as well as tailoring campaigns to drive footfall from the diverse community which visits the shopping park on a regular basis.
One of our most successful campaigns with the shopping park was the launch of Quiet Hour, an initiative which catered towards easier shopping for people with autism. Quiet Hour is now held every Saturday and which garnered international coverage when it launched – praising Manchester Fort for the concept.
Our retailer-focused social media campaigns have also increased the audience by 115% and have been tailored to directly impact footfall and sales. Most notably, our Christmas 2015 campaign saw 24 different events over 24 days in December -reaching millions of people and increased dwell time by more than 11%.
